Therapy Practice Room & Office in Chiswick, London
Commercial
A highly respected psychologist approached me, wishing to infuse new life into her London-based private practice. Her vision was clear: a space that felt welcoming, comforting, and grounding for her valued clients. I was eager to help make her vision a reality, so I dove right into an immersive consultation to align our understanding of the feelings she aimed to inspire in those who stepped foot into the practice. Calling upon my understanding of colour psychology, I spun together an initial design concept and colour palette that resembled 'grounding woodland'. I tailored the design to match her agreed-upon budget, providing a fully detailed cost breakdown. Throughout the design process, I was mindful of the space from both her perspective and that of her clients, as it was essential to create an environment where both parties felt comfortable and safe. This dual focus ensured that the design not only met the psychologist's professional needs but also fostered a sense of security and tranquility for her clients. By integrating elements that appealed to both the practitioner and her clients, I cultivated a harmonious atmosphere conducive to healing and personal growth. The result? My client was overjoyed! So much so, that she's invited me to work on her newly acquired family home in Kew Gardens.
