Kitchen and Utility Refurbishment
Private Residential
Mrs. K was eager to refurbish and optimize her kitchen and utility room. She had arranged an initial design consultation to explore ways to enhance the design and functionality of these areas. Acknowledging her difficulty in visualizing the potential changes, we decided to collaboratively create drawings and test our ideas.
The current layout included a blocked entrance to the utility area, which was inconvenient for daily use. To resolve this, we opened up the space, allowing for additional storage with a pantry. We also positioned the oven at a height that would be comfortable for Mrs. K minimizing the need for bending.
Moreover, we added a breakfast bar to the kitchen-dining area, creating a cozy spot for the family to enjoy their morning routines together. Mrs. K was thrilled with the proposed transformations, noting that some aspects exceeded her expectations, especially the designated area for her daughter's dog bed, which could be separated at night to ensure the dog slept downstairs.
We remained dedicated to designing spaces that not only met our clients' needs but also enhanced their everyday lives.
